When I designed this necklace, the focus was on the pendant. My main source of inspiration was the exotic color combination of dark corals and azure blue turquoise—or the “robin’s egg blue color” that has made Persian-Nishapurian turquoise regarded as the finest in the world for thousands of years.

A necklace that juxtaposes softness and strength in its combination of soft turquoise and bold coral. The dark rich corals over the eccentric turquoise cabochon, paint a scenic image of the warm rays of an early sunrise over the mountains of Nishapur, the home of this gemstone.
