The sequel of The flower of Immortality. This particular design, a seemingly simple and classic floral motif yet both bold and refined took hours o sketching to perfection- the numbers of gems chose are calculated and are to measure. The progression and evolution of this sketch from a chandelier like motif to a floral motif came in a poetic manner inspired by the captivating colour palette of the gemstones and their shape and also inspired by late night readings of the Epic of Gilgamesh and the history of the paradise, then called Dilmun or the Garden of Eden, or the Garden of the Gulf, now Bahrain.

Design by Sumaya Aljazeeri; Jewels made by: Christophi Jewelry Bahrain; 18k white gold, diamonds, natural turquoise, tanzanite and malachite
A statement piece, more than a ring. It is a piece of art which brings these gems to life, a paradise in hand, sparkling and shining a contemporary light on the history of a place, once referred to as the Garden of the gods, now Bahrain. This ring which matches the pair of pendant earrings – the sequel, is designed similarly in a simple classical non-distracting floral motif and with an unusual combination of gems that I carefully chose to be held in a non-over bearing setting, one that lets the gemstones do all the talking. This classic yet refined floral applique features a rich green malachite cabochon that takes center stage, flawless round turquoise cabochons, and purple tanzanites, all enhanced with white diamonds and set in white gold.
